Among the services we offer are:
Insurance Scheme Our policy is with Lloyds of London and the current policy covers one Show and 12 Club meetings for Public Liability Cover only, with an insured sum of up to £1,000,000.
Breeders Award Scheme Our Breeding Scheme awards are well worth having and every return receives a diploma. A First FBA Breeding gets a special diploma and a plaque and a Meritorious Breeding gets a special diploma. In addition to these awards there is The Ron Rayner Trophy which is awarded to any FBA member (with at least two years paid-up membership) who raised to maturity, during the current year, any foreign bird which can be successfully claimed to be a First Recorded UK Breeding.
Patronage Scheme There are four types of Open Show Patronage. The highest is the Area Club Show which is allocated 10 rosettes plus a cash prize for the Best Foreign.
Annual Open Show This is held on the 39th Sunday of the year (providing a hall is available on that day) and caters for all those wishing to exhibit their birds under competitive conditions. Cash specials, rosettes and trophies are awarded to the winners of each section.
Beak & Claw, the Association's four-colour magazine, published three times a year.
Products This covers the sale of Association merchandise.
