Association Rule 2(g) – “To encourage the breeding of foreign birds by keeping records, issuing certificates for all breedings and special awards for meritorious breedings.”
First Recorded Foreign Bird Association Breedings are awarded a plaque.
Meritorious Breedings are awarded a special certificate.
All other Breedings are awarded a certificate.
In addition there is The Ron Rayner Trophy for First Recorded UK Breedings
This Trophy is awarded, in addition to the three current categories, to any Foreign Bird Association member (with at least two years paid-up membership) who raises to maturity, during the current year, any foreign bird which can be successfully claimed to be a First Recorded UK Breeding.
The claimant will, of course, be asked to supply support for the claim and to write an account of the breeding for publication in Beak & Claw.
Breeding Forms will be sent to all members and should be returned to the Breeders Secretary before the end of January each year.
